Teaching giving in the Lawrence School District
Faculty donated more than 100 gifts

Lawrence School District faculty and students collected more than 100 gifts as part of their Giving Tree project.

Four schools in the Lawrence district — Lawrence High School, Lawrence Middle School, Lawrence Elementary School and the Lawrence Early Childhood Center at the Number Four School — donated more than 100 gifts as part of the Giving Tree project. In addition, each school created a giving tree with the only information being a child’s gender and age.
The Giving Tree is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the charitable education of children. The aim is to work together to teach children the merits of helping worthwhile causes and the positive results of their hard work. To learn more, go to http://givingtreefamilies.org.
