Warren Levi Martial Arts in Cedarhurst students obtain black belts

Several students at Warren Levi Martial Arts in Cedarhurst earned different degrees of black belts.

Receiving their first-degree Black belts were: Cassel Koss of Atlantic Beach (junior first-degree), Avi Francis and Etty Somerstein, both of Cedarhurst; and Julian Isler of Woodmere.

Receiving their second-degree Black belt were: John Han of Queens, Richard Madia of West Hempstead, Kyle Murchison of Far Rockaway and Jonathan Rivera of Brooklyn.

Receiving their third-degree Black belts were: Rebecca Obstfeld of Oceanside, Mark Somerstein of Cedarhurst and Amit Ziv of Queens. Don Emanuel, of Brooklyn, was awarded the highest rank of sixth-degree degree Black belt.
