Santa Claus topped off the Hewlett-Woodmere community Christmas tree lighting at the Veterans Memorial Triangle in Hewlett on Dec. 3.

Children and adults gathered at the Veterans Memorial Triangle at the intersection of Broadway and West Broadway in Hewlett for the annual Christmas tree lighting on Dec. 3. There was candy canes, cookies, fire trucks, giveaways, hot chocolate and, of course, Santa Claus.
