Woodmere girl cooks up an online show on Kosher.com

Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway Middle School sixth-grader Rylee Gluck, 11, from Woodmere, is the first-ever host of the online cooking show “Nosh & Nibble” on Kosher.com.

Gluck’s first three shows covered meeting the preadolescent in “Meet Rylee!” in the inaugural “Nosh and Nibble” episode that premiered on Dec. 11. Episode two “Personal Dessert Pizzas with Rylee” debuted on Dec. 15 and the third episode  “Make Your Own Chanukah Gelt” was first shown on Dec. 22, the first night of the eight-day Jewish holiday.

Kosher.com is a food and recipe website headquartered in Bayonne, New Jersey. “Nosh & Nibble, a collaboration between Kosher.com and PJ Library, is a cooking and crafting show for children 7 to 10 done by kids. PJ Library is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a North American Jewish nonprofit organization in West Springfield, Mass. Established in 2005 to promote literacy and engage Jewish and interfaith families with young children.
