Carey names its Seniors of the Month

H. Frank Carey High School’s Sean Nagy and Shannon O’Connell were awarded the distinction of Seniors of the Month in Feb. Nagy is captain of the Carey varsity football team, an active member of the Future Business Leaders of America group and was recently inducted into the Business Honor Society. Nagy also earned a spot on the Nassau County Senior Bowl All Star Team in November and will be playing varsity lacrosse in the spring. O’Connell is an active member of the National, Math and Science Honor Societies. She was recently awarded the scholar athlete distinction for her varsity volleyball and varsity softball teams. O’Connell is also Vice President of the class of 2013 and was recently selected as Carey’s Homecoming Queen for 2013.
