Missing Elmont teen boy found

Nassau Police's Missing Persons Squad requests the public's help in finding a missing teen who was last seen on Dec. 28, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Elmont, has been found Wednesday morning.

According to detectives, Joshua Mayes, 15, male was last seen leaving his residence on Hendrickson Avenue.

He is described as a dark complexion African - American, 5' 7" tall, medium build, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this missing to contact The Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
