A Franklin Square man and woman were arrested on Aug. 28 for a robbery police say they committed on Aug. 24 with their three-year old daughter.

According to 3rd Squad detectives, Frank Simone, 29, and Allyson Tibaldi, 26, who both live on Benmore Avenue, went to a commercial building in New Hyde Park at 4:30 p.m. Police say that Tibaldi, with their daughter, kept watch while Simone climbed to a second-story landing and broke into two apartments. Simone then took jewelry and prescription narcotics from the apartments and fled the scene and Tibaldi and their daughter.

Tibaldi was arrested at her home at 2:10 a.m. on Aug. 28 and Simone was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Bellmore at 4:20 a.m.

Simone and Tibaldi were each charged with second-degree burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. Simone was also charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle.

They were both arraigned on Aug. 28 at First District Court in Hempstead.
