Nassau County police arrested four men they believe were involved in the robbery of three employees of Tri State Motors, on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square, on Sept. 13.

According to 4th Squad detectives, the men — David Hosannah, 32, Rubens Petion, 36, and Khalid Wisdom, 21, all of Brooklyn, and Horation Thomas, 28, of Jamaica, Queens — went to Tri State Motors last Friday morning. Two of the men went inside, each armed with a handgun, detectives said, while the other two, who were also armed, waited outside in a car. Police said that the two men inside robbed three employees, taking their wallets and cellphones, and then fled in the waiting car.

Police reported seeing a vehicle near Evans Avenue, in Elmont, that matched the description of the car used by the suspects. The men jumped out of the car and attempted to flee, but were taken into custody.

Each was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The four were arraigned on Sept. 14 at First District Court in Hempstead.
