Brooklyn man arrested at Belmont for unlawful surveillance

Nassau Police arrested a Brooklyn man for unlawful surveillance on June 10 at 6:40 p.m. at Belmont Racetrack in Elmont.

According to detectives, an NYPD detective, while on duty at Belmont Racetrack in Elmont, watched Samuel Jackson, 28, of Union St., as he approached two females, who were both 19 years old, from behind. Jackson stood directly behind them and placed his cell phone camera lens underneath one of the women's skirts. Then he positioned himself behind the other woman and placed the cell phone camera underneath her skirt. Both women were unaware of his actions.

Jackson is being charged with two counts of unlawful surveillance and was arraigned on June 11 in First District Court, Hempstead.
