Chamber to honor small businessperson

The Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce will participate the 36th annual Small Businessperson of the Year and Legislative Breakfast at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Oct. 29, organized by the Nassau County Council of Chambers of Commerce.
Each year, a small businessperson is selected as the award recipient by a five-person committee comprised of Franklin Square Chamber President Lisa DelliPizzi, previous honorees and chamber members.
The committee’s choice is based on criteria set by the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce. To be eligible, candidates must be active members of the chamber in their communities, owners or managers of local businesses and people who have made important contributions to the welfare of the community.
