Nassau boys' basketball playoffs set

For a second straight season, Lawrence has earned the No. 1 seed in the Nassau County Class A boys' basketball playoffs. The Golden Tornadoes went undefeated against Conference A-II foes and will take on a yet-to-be-determined opponent on Thursday evening, weather permitting. Two-time defending champion Baldwin is the top seed in Class AA, while Malverne is No. 1 in Class B.
