“Owls of the New York City Area” will be presented by Joe Giunta at the South Shore Audubon Society Meeting on Tuesday, September 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Freeport Memorial Library, 144 West Merrick Road (at South Ocean Avenue).

When and where the nine species of owls that can be seen in the NYC region can be found, what their lives are like, and what it is that captures the imagination of birders will be the subject of this slide illustrated program.
