Temps to warm up

The National Weather Service reports that Nassau County’s South Shore will have to endure temperatures in the high teens to the 20s today, March 6, falling to the low teens tonight.


Saturday will be sunny, the forecast claims, in the 30s.

Sunday’s temps may reach the low 40s.

While the lows next week will be in the 20s, the good news is that the highs each day, at least until Thursday next week, will be in the 40s.

Today: Sunny. Cold with highs in the mid 20s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows around 15. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny. Cold with highs in the mid 30s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s.

Monday Night: Mostly clear in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.
