Mohdshobair Hussaini is the 2015 Freeport High School valedictorian. He has a weighted GPA of 104.636, is a member of the National Honor Society and the New York State Science Honor Society. Recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, Hussaini has already taken five Advanced Placement classes and obtained scores worthy of college credit. He is currently enrolled in four Advanced Placement classes. During his time at Freeport High School, Hussaini has been a member of Student Government, the school newspaper, the Peer Tutoring Club, the Quiz Bowl Team, the New York State Science Olympiad Club and the Mathletes Club. He is currently the president of the Peer Tutoring Club and Mathletes Club. He is co-president of the Science Olympiads, vice president of the Quiz Bowl Team, treasurer of Student Government and sports editor of the school newspaper. He also won Adelphi University’s Quill Award, placing every year in Freeport High School’s Science & Engineering Fair, and placing in the top 10 in Molloy College’s Annual Science Fair.

Lois Evans is the 2015 Freeport High School salutatorian. She graduates with a GPA of 102.12, earning the Advanced Designation Diploma with Honors and Mastery in Science. Evans has completed 13 Honors courses and four Advanced Placement courses. She has been on the High Honor Roll each year since ninth grade and has consistently scored 88 or higher on her Regents exams, including two perfect scores of 100 on the U.S. History Regents and the English Regents. She has participated in various extracurricular activities, such as Key Club, Peer Leaders, Sinfonietta, Pit Orchestra, Lacrosse, Tennis and a Teen Band. Additionally, she has held leadership positions in Student Government, Mock Trial and the Class of 2015, where she has been the president for the past three years. Evans has also received the following awards: Scholar Athlete, NYSSMA Gold Medal, Moot Court and Mock Trial. She was also a participant in the All-County String Festival. Evans also joined the Center for Talented Youth program.
