Children were heard laughing and singing Christmas carols at Otto’s Sea Grill on Dec. 9 during the first year of Holiday Boutiques and Lunch with the Grinch events. Held on the Nautical Mile, parents spent the afternoon leisurely perusing nautical inspired gifts and jewelry, while their children hung out with the Grinch.
After lunch, the event also featured the viewing of the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, face painting, toys and treats. The green hairy pot-bellied,w wacky scoundrel snuck up on the children while they were eating and took pictures with them after lunch. Joe Bolognese is known as the “Man of Many Voices” also participated in the event and shared songs and dances with the children and the Grinch.
