Police: Shooting at Willow and Frederick avenues

On Sept. 6, the Freeport and Nassau County police investigated a shooting at Willow and Frederick avenues in Freeport.

Shots were fired at Willow and Frederick avenues at 11:43 p.m. on Sept. 6 in Freeport. When the Freeport Police responded to the scene, an unidentified 24-year-old man was lying in the street. The man was transferred to a local hospital with an undisclosed number of gunshot wounds. According to police, the man is in critical condition. The Homicide Squad is presently investigating the incident.
