Back to school fun abound at Sea Cliff carnival

Posted

Last Friday, students from Sea Cliff Elementary had a lot to smile about after school. The North Shore School District sponsored a back to school carnival in the backyard, complete with inflatable slides and obstacle courses, carnival games, craft booths, music and more.

The Sea Cliff PTO sold tie-dye t-shirts boasting school pride and provided fair food in the form of hot dogs, hamburgers and freshly popped popcorn. Students also enjoyed carnival games like crash the cans and ring toss.

Over by the basketball courts, Principal Dr. Chris Zublionis got in on the fun by bonding with his beloved students. They challenged the administrator to football toss and cornhole, vying at the chance to become school principal for a day.
