Oceanside High School headed back to the prohibition era with its rendition of “Nice Work if You Can Get it,” a story chronicling a forbidden romance between a wily lady bootlegger and a young man on the eve of his wedding to another woman.
Directed by longtime Oceanside music teacher Bruce Bider, conducted by Lynn Garcia and choreographed by Laura Gallo, the play was the last major musical production of the school year, and a send off to Thespian Troupe 132’s senior members.
