Island Park children were welcomed into the magical world of Bella Bambolina on Sept. 27, when author Rae Jean Ferreri visited the library. Bella Bambolina is the main character in Ferreri’s children’s book series, Bella Bambolina Adventures. The author joined local children, as well as library director Jessica Koenig and children’s librarian Meghan Ceglie, for a Bella Bambolina Party. There were crafts, a reading from the first book in the series, Magic Happens, The Adventure Begins, and face painting. The kids had a wonderful time visiting Bella Bella Island, and left with a signed copy of the book.
