Island Park’s own “Champagne” Pam Lewis headlined at the 13th annual “Artists in Partnership” cabaret festival at the Long Beach Library May 18. She has been packing the Metropolitan Room in New York City of late, with her tribute to Billy Joel. Her father was in the audience at the weekend show, when Lewis presented her “Daddy’s Little Girl” show, which won her a “Broadway World” award for Best Female Vocalist. Accompanying Lewis was Bill Heller on piano, Ritt Henn on Bass and Marcus Parsley on trumpet.

Artists in Partnership present a series of music festivals during the year including the Barrier Beach Blues and Arts Festival, Summer Arts in the Plaza, Hip-Hop festival, Kickin Country Festival, and Folk2Funk. For information on upcoming shows contact A.I.P. at (516) 432-6342.
