YouTube sensations Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo bring their madcap approach to classical music when they perform “A Little Nightmare Music,” at Tilles Center, on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m.

Igudesman, a violinist, and pianist Joo – both classically trained musicians – find inspiration from such comedic forefathers as Victor Borge and P.D.Q. Bach. The duo relishes overturning traditional attitudes towards classical music. Like their predecessors, they are serious musicians who have turned the world’s most esteemed concert halls into standing room-only comedy clubs.

Think Mozart hijacked by Monty Python and you have some idea of the mayhem created at the highest level of musicianship on worldwide stages – and immortalized on videos with more than 30 million views. Yet, while their spin may be irreverent, they always treat the music with the utmost respect.

Tickets are $70, $50 and $35; available at (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com or www.tillescenter.org.
