Fair Reacquaint community with I.P. library

The Island Park Public Library, devastated by the raging waters of Hurricane Sandy last Oct. was reacquainted at the community on Aug. 23 with a coffee get-to-gether at the library, located at 176 Long Beach Road, near the community’s train station.
The library lost more than 20,000 books and lots of technology in the storm but reopened with temporary hours two weeks ago.
On Friday, residents were invited to come in for a cup of coffee and take a look at the refurbished facility, which will fully reopen on Oct. 19.
