Beauty and the Beast Jr.
The beloved tale springs to life once again in Plaza Theatrical Productions staging of this enchanting musical. The appealing story of the girl who yearns for a different life is always a crowd-pleaser. Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this charming story about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.

Broadway Showcase
Eisenhower Park welcomes Neil Berg’s “100 Years of Broadway” for its annual visit to the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre stage. The nostalgia-filled musical revue features some of the greatest showstoppers of the past century, as well as thrilling numbers from Broadway’s newest hit shows. The cast includes stars from such memorable shows as “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Misérables,” “Cats,” and “Jesus Christ Superstar,” performing the songs they helped make famous. The revue includes standards by composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Frank Loesser, along with the hits from recent shows.

Bug Safari
Old Westbury Gardens is always a welcome destination for a family outing. Bring the kids to explore the gardens on a ‘safari’ excursion. Hunt elusive grasshoppers, butterflies, predatory insects, and other creepy, crawly creatures throughout the estate’s colorful grounds. Kids will use all their senses as they listen for bugs, smell what might attract them and even touch them. Be sure to bring a butterfly net and collecting jars for this bugged-out adventure.
