Cook some ravioli

The Island Park Public Library’s baking coach is stuffing raviolis with ricotta and spinach and wants you to help out. Come by on Thursday, Oct. 4 from 7 to 8 p.m., and even take some home! Also, please bring a rolling pin, and there will be a $3 material fee (cash only).

What to plant?

The Oceanside Garden Club, with designer George Woodard, invite all to the Oceanside Library on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., for a talk on choosing plants for your yard. There will be an emphasis on Rhododendrons.

A family festival

It’s FamFest 2018 on Thursday, Oct. 13! Drop by the Schoolhouse Green in Oceanside on the corner of Locust Avenue and Foxhurst Road between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for free games and raffles, courtesy of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce. There will also be music, theatre, karate performances and a food truck.

An afternoon of ‘Broadway’s Beloved Duos’

Join vocalist Marcie Passley for a revue of Broadway’s best, when she visits the Landmark on Main Street stage, Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. Take a trip down memory lane with some of the greatest songs ever written for the stage.
