T-Bear is looking for a home

Posted

Sweet T- Bear is waiting for her forever home. This 4-year-old terrier mix, has been in loving foster care with her elderly foster mom for over a year, but she is moving and T-Bear needs a new place to stay.
T-Bear recently had ACL surgery as part of a rescue grant program with the Animal Medical Center of NYC. Then, volunteers at Ruff House Rescue raised funds to cover the cost of a two-week rehab program at Shirley Animal Hospital. T-Bear needs to go to a home and not the Ruff House kennel to start her new life. This pup had her life spared by Ruff House when she was pulled from a high-kill shelter down south almost two years ago, and she has been waiting for an owner ever since.
T-Bear is a real charmer once she gets to know you. She is loyal, sweet, quiet and a great companion. She is a medium sized dog at 44 pounds, smart and has learned many commands. She would do best in a home with older children or just adults. T-Bear’s photo has been exhibited in a Manhattan gallery, but what she most needs is that one person or family to say yes, and foster to adopt.
