Long Beach Reach, a community service organization offering positive alternatives and programs to the local community will hold a special “Night of Dinner, Drinks and Music” at Sutton Place, 124 W. Park Ave., on Thursday, May 8, from 6-9 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support Long Beach Reach’s vital community services.
Long Beach Reach has been reaching out to the local community since 1970. The many services to individuals and families include outpatient drug and alcohol prevention and treatment services, alternative education, adolescent pregnancy prevention and services, juvenile justice counseling and a crisis hotline as well as professional intervention for those with depression and other emotional health issues.
“The Night of Dinner, Drinks & Music will offer an enjoyable evening out where we can celebrate the families we have helped throughout the years, along with friends who have generously donated their time and have provided financial support to help us in assisting families in crisis,” said Executive Director Dr. Joseph Smith.
All are welcome to attend the event, which will feature local band F.O.G and raffle prizes donated by local merchants. “With all proceeds from the raffles and dinner going directly to Long Beach Reach, we will be able to continue our mission of providing professional services to individuals and families in our community,” Smith added.
