The scene on Laurelton Boulevard Tuesday afternoon. Police, SWAT, and helicopters were reported at the scene, but no details have been released.

Major police activity has been reported on Laurelton Boulevard.
Witnesses reported police, Nassau County SWAT and helicopters in the area. There has not yet been any official confirmation of a hostage situation, which was being reported by LI Fire Wire, a Facebook page that publishes fire department-related information.
