Loop Parkway’s northbound lanes closed for emergency repairs

The northbound lanes of the Loop Parkway from Lido Boulevard were closed just before noon on Monday for emergency repairs, according to 511NY.

The emergency construction forced the closure of all two lanes between the start of the Loop Parkway north at Lido Boulevard and the Meadowbrook State Parkway.

A spokesman for the state Department of Transportation’s regional office was not immediately available for comment, and it was unclear how long the lane closures are expected to last.
