The Music Man coming to town in North Merrick

The Sixth Grade Theatre Arts Club of North Merrick, in its 19th year, proudly presents, The Music Man, Jr. on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 at the Brookside Auditorium on Meadowbrook Road.

Under the direction of teachers, Joyce Kelley and Gail Appel, nearly one hundred students have been rehearsing tirelessly for the last three months. Many have been engaged in creating and painting sets, under the guidance of art teacher, Marilyn Zucker.

In addition, students have been learning professional sound technology and lighting from long time Merokean and President of HDH Davidson, Donald Davidson.

Join us for a night of fun for the entire family! Watch our students transform into Iowa townspeople from over hundred years ago. Famous songs include: Seventy-Six Trombones, Wells Fargo Wagon, Till There Was You, and many more. Performances start at 7:30 and tickets will be available at the door.
