Arrests

At 1:42 a.m. on April 13, a 27-year-old woman of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Unsafe Lane Change and Improper U Turn on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

A 33-year-old man of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Equipment Violations on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook at 2:50 p.m. on April 13.

At 9:40 p.m. on April 15, a 23-year-old man, of North Bellmore, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to Stop at a Stop Sign on Hempstead Ave.

A 27-year-old woman, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief and Assault on Merrick Road in Lynbrook at 6:24 p.m. on April 16.

At 8:15 p.m. on April 16, a 27-year-old woman of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with three counts ofAggravated Unlicensed Operation, and one count each of Improper Lane Use and Equipment Violation on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

A 32-year-old man of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief on Oak Street in Lynbrook at 2:35 a.m. on April 17.

At 11:29 a.m. on April 18, a 38-year-old man, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana, Failure to Signal, Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Uninspected Motor Vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. The defendant was also charged with two open warrants from Nassau County District Court for two counts of Criminal Possession of Marihuana (and one count of Equipment Violation.

A 29-year-old of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Circumvention of Interlock Device and Speeding on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook at 12:02 p.m. on April 19.

Identity theft

A resident reported that an unauthorized cable account was opened in their name at 9:45 p.m. on April 15. The total charged to the account was $145.29

A resident reported that their name and Social Security number were used to file an unauthorized tax return at 4:20 p.m. on April 15.
