Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

 On Aug. 17 at 2 p.m., a 27-year-old man of Massapequa was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (concentrated cannabis) and two counts of failure to signal on Sherman Street in Lynbrook.

On Aug. 17 at 2 p.m., a 26-year-old of N. Massapequa was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance (Diazepam and Alprazolam) on Sherman Street in Lynbrook.

A 28-year-0ld man, of Lynbrook was arrested on Aug. 17 at 6:25 p.m. and charged with petit larceny and criminal trespass at Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters, at One Columbus Drive, for an incident that occurred on Merrick Road.

On Aug. 19 at 7:31 p.m. a 19-year-old, of Springfield Gardens was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, uninspected motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and equipment violation on Sunrise Hwy.

A 22-year-old man, Massapequa, was arrested on Aug. 19 at 9:35 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (LSD/acid) and criminal sale of a controlled substance (LSD/acid) at the Massapequa Train Station for an incident that occurred on Sunrise Hwy.

On Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. a 30-year-old, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine and Alprazolam) on Sunrise Hwy.

A 28-year-old man, of Massapequa was arrested Aug. 22 at 2:30 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief on Saperstein Plaza.

On Aug. 22, at 9 a.m., a 21-year-old man, of Far Rockaway was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and unlawful possession of marijuana in the private parking area of the Capri Motor Inn at 5 Freer St.

On Aug. 23 at 2:10 p.m., a 30-year-old man, of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal mischief and assault on Merrick Road.

A 50-year-old woman, of Hauppauge was arrested on Aug. 24 at 9:30 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Peninsula Blvd.

Grand larceny
At 8:14 a.m. on Aug. 11, it was reported that someone removed the tires and rims from their 2015 Mercedes Benz while it was parked at their residence on Vincent Avenue in Lynbrook. The total amount of the loss is $3,550.

Petit larceny
A complainant reported that on Aug. 12 at 4 p.m., someone removed an interior dashboard drawer from their 2015 Honda which was parked in their driveway on Taft Avenue. The drawer contained $5 in assorted money. The total amount of the loss is $105.

Petit larceny/criminal trespass
At 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 13, the owner of Merrick Road Automotive located at 675 Merrick Road, reported that an Audi tire and rim were removed from their property. The total amount of the loss is $250.
