Arrests

On April 25, at 7:10 p.m., a 22-year-old man, of Hempstead was arrested and charged with assault for an incident that occurred inside a motor vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 20-year-old man, of Lynbrook was located, arrested and charged with an open Nassau County warrant on April 26 at 6:40 a.m.
n  On April 26, at 6:55 a.m., Jonathan Grez-Perez 37, of Lynbrook was located, arrested and charged with an open Lynbrook Village warrant.

A 46-year-old man, of Lynbrook was located, arrested and charged with an open Hempstead Village warrant on April 26 at 7:45 a.m.

On April 26, at 8:20 a.m., a 25-year-old man, of Lynbrook was located, arrested and charged with an open Nassau County warrant.

A 46-year-old man, of Centereach was arrested April 28 at 7:38 p.m. and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled Ssubstance (Ambien, Oxycodone and Xanax) on Peninsula Boulevard.

On April 29, at 8:59 p.m., an 18-year-old man, of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Bixley Heath.

A 52-year-old man, of Valley Stream was arrested on May 2 at 2:30 p.m. and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Bixley Heath.


Identity theft
At 11 a.m. on April 26, the manager of Sorbara Construction, located on Broadway, reported that someone used the company’s name to open a Verizon account and billed $1,191 in fraudulent charges.

Criminal mischief
At 4:03 p.m. on April 26, the owner of Synergy Fitness, located at 640 Merrick Road, reported that at 5 a.m. on April 23, an unknown male, after attempting to open the locked front door, threw a large rock through the window on the Southwest side of the building. The damage is approximately $1,800.

Petit larceny/criminal mischief
At 9:30 a.m. on April 29, a resident of Edmund Street discovered his Pyle-brand touch screen stereo had been removed from his 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Truck. Total damage to the vehicle is approximately $500, and total loss of the stereo is approximately $200.

Identity theft
At 2:53 p.m. on April 29, a woman reported that an unknown person used her Kohl’s credit card to purchase merchandise that was billed $2,729.57 in fraudulent charges.
