In the process, Biegel spoke with veterans by phone and Skyped with them to get a feel of what they are going through. One of those he spoke with was Justin Gourley, whose wife wrote “War At Home,” about PTSD.

Biegel also gives credit to James Boyd, now CEO of the Lousianna Phyharmonic Orchestra, for making things happen.

The orchestra will also perform “Fanfare for the Common Man,” “Belle of the Ball,” ‘’Blue Tango,” and “Bugler’s Holiday.”
