Two years ago, Orza took out a loan to put new air ducts and flooring in the home after asbestos was discovered. Now, he said, that investment is gone, but he is still keeping his head up. “Financially, emotionally, it’s heartbreaking,” he said, “but I know that God is bigger than this and we’ll be OK.”
The worst part of my day was when I had to leave a couple hours earlier than the rest of the crew because I was needed elsewhere for the Herald. It was an experience I’d encourage any person who is physically willing and able to pursue, and a day I will not soon forget.
