Lynbrook dentists gets new name, location

Lynbrook’s Clear Choice Dental Group will soon have a new home, and a new name. They will be moving from the building on the right, located at 585 Merrick Rd., to the building on the left, located at 593 Merrick Rd.

After sharing an office for more than three years, one of Lynbrook’s dentists is getting a new location, and a new name to go with it.

Clear Choice Dental Group has called 585 Merrick Road home for more than three years. They have shared the space with Premier Care/CityMD, an urgent medical care provider, but all of that is going to change. The dental office will be moving just a few hundred feet down Merrick Road, to 593 Merrick Road, where they will have their own office space to fill. The move should be complete in three months.

The location will not be the only change, however. The office will soon be receiving a new name, and will now be known as Dental365. D. Scott Asnis, founder and chief executive officer of Dental365, said that the new space would allow the office to care for more patients and offer them a better experience.

“We’re very excited that we have already outgrown our space in the few years we have been open,” he said. “We will be able to accommodate more patients and offer more services in our new building… my passion is to help people afford and have access to a state-of-the-art dental office that is open when you need our care.”

Asnis said he started the practice with the aim of becoming one of the nation’s first high-quality, affordable dental offices that offered not only appointments, but walk-in emergency dental care seven days a week. The practice accepts walk-in visits with little or no waiting time, and will offer services ranging including emergency extractions, routine exams, cosmetic restorations and veneers and periodontal procedures

Asnis’ practice has grown steadily since it opened three years ago, with two more locations now open in Manhattan and in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and more locations are being planned for the future. The practice should continue to grow, as Dental365 plans to add specialists to its staff, including an endodontist, periodontist, oral surgeon, implant specialist and orthodontist. “We plan to have more dental specialists in-house, so our patients will never have to go anywhere else for dental care,” Asnis explained.
