This year marks the 30th anniversary of John/Kristin Associates, a full service independent insurance agency, specializing in all types of insurance for individuals, families and businesses. While the main office is in Malverne, they also have agencies in Buffalo and Florida. As many clients are relocating, becoming “snowbirds,” or purchasing a secondary home, John/Kristin is happy to offer this great accommodation. They’ve got everyone covered.

“Our aim is to reduce your insurance costs and eliminate any gap in coverage that you may have,” says Vice President, Jack Sorrentino, who has been with John/Kristin since 1989. “In addition, we can offer you A+ rated insurance carriers that are known for financial stability and expedient claim settlements.”

At John/Kristin Associates, we will represent you, not the insurance company. Our main products include, but are not limited to: Automobile, Homeowners, Flood, Umbrella, Condo, Co-op, Renters, Jewelry/Valuable Items, Boat, Motorcycle, Commercial, Disability, and Malpractice insurances. We also place Life and Health policies.”

Members of the friendly staff at John/Kristin, who collectively offer well over 100 years of insurance experience, provide broad expertise and knowledge. They will offer a complete analysis of a person’s or company’s insurance needs, and design the most suitable individualized protection program. Since they represent so many insurance carriers, they are not limited to placing a policy with only one company. They will do the leg-work, shop for you, and find the best value.

Heading the Malverne office, Jack Sorrentino lives right in the village with his wife, MaryAnn. They have two married children, Richard and Melissa, and four grandchildren, Joseph, Austin, Giuliana and Aubree. Sorrentino is past president and board chairman of The Malverne Merchants and Professional Association. He was voted “Business Person of the Year,” and oversees the Malverne Antique Car Show and local high school scholarship awards. He also played an important role in obtaining the exquisite downtown clock, which adds much to the charming village.
