East Rockaway, Lynbrook sees street flooding, downed trees
Readers and residents submitted photos throughout the day, showing Hurricane Sandy inching toward the communities. Our top photographers are out there, too. On Vincent Place in Lynbrook, the Lore's tree came down. "It was the only tree I ever planted," he said.
