The Brainy Book Club will meet at the East Rockaway Public Library on April 17 at 7 p.m. to discuss the book “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot. The book details Lack’s study of cervical cancer. Copies of the book are available at the library. If large print books are unavailable, readers can borrow a Kindle or a Nook that will have the book pre-loaded onto it.
