East Rockaway Mayor Bruno Romano and Trustees Gordon Fox and Richard Bilello were sworn into office for another term at the Village of East Rockaway’s annual reorganization meeting on April 8.

At the meeting, Fox became the village’s new deputy mayor, replacing Trustee Theresa Gaffney. He, Romano and Bilello then recited the oath of office, which was led by former Town of Hempstead Supervisor Anthony Santino.

Afterward, Romano thanked all the residents for their support in the March 19 election, in which the East Rockaway village officials ran unopposed. Romano garnered 232 votes, while Bilello received 224, and Fox finished with 223.
