A prodigy in poetics

Dennise Gregory, a ninth-grader at Malverne High School, was recently chosen to have her poem featured in “Creative Communications,” an international publication that showcases the work of students.

Dennise’s poem, “I Am Intelligent and Unique in My Own Way,” was selected from thousands of applicants. She has been submitting poetry to the publication since the fourth grade, and this is the third piece she has had featured in the book.

The Malverne School District congratulated Dennise Gregory on being a published writer after her poem “I Am Intelligent and Unique in My Own Way” was featured in the international publication “Creative Communications.”
