Craft and Fine Art Festival
Nassau County Museum of Art’s lush grounds provide the setting for a fall showcase of the best of the nation’s crafts artists – including talented artisans from our area. The family-friendly event is much more than an “arts and crafts” show, the participating artists offer original creations that demonstrate a range of creativity, along with workshops, demonstrations and entertainment, including alpaca shearing.

Trio Solisti
The renowned ensemble Trio Solisti returns to Adelphi University with a program of piano masterworks. The critically acclaimed musicians who perform as Trio Solisti – violinist Maria Bachmann, cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach, and pianist Jon Klibonoff – are known for their ability to perform a broad spectrum of styles and have collaborated with some of the world’s finest musicians. The program includes Beethoven’s Variations on an Original Theme Op. 44, Glass’ “Head On” Piano Trio, Saint-Saëns’ Trio in F major, Op. 18, and Dvorák’s Trio in E minor, Op. 90 “Dumky.”

Celebrity Autobiography
Extended your weekend with an evening of laughs at the “docu-theater” comedy show, “Celebrity Autobiography.” Actors Carol Kane and Ralph Macchio and “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd, along with writer Alan Zweibel and show creators Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel, head a comedic ensemble that performs jaw-dropping vignettes inspired by some of the most unforgettable celebrity tell-alls.
