Malverne teachers recognized for service

As part of the district’s annual Superintendent’s Conference Day, Malverne teachers and staff members were honored for their service in devoting their lives to educating the country’s future leaders. Superintendent Dr. James Hunderfund was pleased to honor Eileen Rank and Barbara Allaire of Davison Avenue School and Margaret McDaid of Maurice W. Downing School for their 25 years of service; Nina Ellison-Greene of Howard T. Herber Middle School for 30 years of service; Margaret Corace, senior clerk typist at Malverne High School, as Outstanding Support Staff Member of the Year and Marguerite Robles, teacher at Maurice W. Downing School, as Outstanding Staff Member of the Year.
