National Geographic Society’s Geographic Bee
Social Studies teacher and Geographic Bee coordinator Keri Doyle, Tom Torquato and Vincent Gatto at the bee.

During the month of January, all seventh-grade students at H. Frank Carey High School participated in the National Geographic Society’s Geographic Bee. Students competed in their Social Studies classes, and class winners participated in a final competition on Jan. 10. The runner up was Tom Torquato and school Geography Bee Champion was Vincent Gatto. As school champion, Vincent has taken a qualifying exam for the New York State championship.
