Two Malverne men were arrested on Feb. 15 and charged with burglarizing a home on Molyneaux Road in Valley Stream last month, according to Nassau County police.

Police said that Raymond Buckridge, 32, and Michael Kelly, 46, broke a side door’s glass and entered the home on Jan. 20 at 8:35 a.m. They stole jewelry and fled the scene, but Kelly had cut himself on the glass and police recovered his DNA, which they used to identify him, they said. Buckridge allegedly pawned some of the jewelry that day and was identified by the pawn shop owner.

Police arrested both men in front of Kelly’s home. Buckridge was charged with second-degree burglary, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and tampering with physical evidence. Kelly was charged with second-degree burglary and a traffic violation from an open warrant. Both men were arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
