BBQ held for RVC first responders

Local law enforcement officials and emergency rescue workers had a chance to unwind and enjoy the summer weather while socializing and enjoying a meal. A special barbecue was held this month to honor the first responders who support the residents at Maple Pointe Assisted Living in Rockville Centre. Members of the Rockville Centre police and fire departments attended the event.

“I held the barbecue as a way to thank all of them for the outstanding service we receive at Maple Pointe,” said Tammy Marshall, executive director of Maple Pointe. “They are so wonderful to my staff and residents, I wanted to do something to show my tremendous gratitude. It’s not nearly enough and I can’t say enough about the RVC responders.”
