The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District is planning an evening to offer local residents the opportunity to discuss the challenges that they faced during Hurricane Sandy. Titled “Coping with the Aftereffects of Superstorm Sandy: An Evening to Listen, Learn and Share,” the session will be led by credentialed disaster-support professionals from the American Red Cross, and will be held in the Mepham High School auditorium on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. more
