Broadway Medical PC — a dedicated team of health care professionals with a broad range of disciplines and cutting edge techniques — now introduces a novel approach for patients. The practice has expanded on its integrated traditional, complementary and alternative health care offerings.

As part of the expansion, Dr. Peter Luecken, a chiropractor with 30 years experience, has recently become affiliated with Broadway Medical. In addition to traditional hands-on chiropractic adjustments used to realign vertebrae, he brings in a new alternative — Computer Assisted Manipulation. Using a pulsed, computerized hand-guided instrument, he tests each segment of the spine, pinpoints the issue, and treats it with Resonant Vibration. All the patient feels is a gentle pulsating. This instrument and technique helps break the cycle of pain, spasm and dysfunction.

Dr. Luecken is a graduate of Columbia Institute of Chiropractic (D.C.) and a Fellow of the American College of Chiropractors. He was instrumental in the expansion of the New York Chiropractic College and the founding of the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic College. He lectures extensively and has trained over 30 associates.

“Patient Advocacy” is another highlight at Broadway Medical. Having a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) on premises — a certified family practitioner with additional certification in osteopathic manipulation — allows this to happen. Osteopaths treat a wide array of medical conditions with an emphasis on the musculoskeletal system. They can diagnosis, offer measures for prevention, treat illnesses, prescribe drugs and if necessary, do procedures. Whether a patient has an illness, injury, or needs physical therapy, a DO can provide solid, medical oversight and counsel patients on their best course of treatment.
