Calhoun classes clash for the fun of it

Posted

Calhoun High School’s four grades of students duked it out on Feb. 26 at the rumble in the gymnasium: Class Night.

It was all in the name of good fun and school spirit. Wearing colorful, game-like attire — freshman came in green, sophomores in blue, juniors in white and seniors in red — students competed in classic contests like musical chairs, crab soccer, relays, scooter races and KanJam, also known as “garbage can Frisbee.” This year teams also adopted a board game theme, naming themselves “Freshmanopoly,” “Sophs and Ladders, “Candyland Jr.” and “Senior Life.”
