Camp Avenue parents want smaller class sizes

Tiffany Joosten, whose son will begin second grade at Camp Avenue School this fall, spoke out against what she and other parents see as high class sizes in this grade.

“We budgeted for the number of sections we have,” Feller said later. “Like any other entity, we need to live within our budget.” He called the odds of the district adding an additional class “very slim,” unless the district saw a “very large influx” of more students looking to enroll in that grade.
