MAMS writing students cook up ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’

Students in Lauren Beinert’s seventh- and eighth-grade special-education class at Merrick Avenue Middle School were recently honored for the writings that they contributed to the “Chicken Soup for the MAMS Soul” collection. Principal Dr. Meador Pratt presented the students with “Achievement in Writing” award certificates in recognition of their work. “Chicken Soup for the MAMS Soul” is a collection of personal inspirational stories that aim to offer hope to students.
